Farm to School
Nationally, the Farm to School program helps child nutrition program operators incorporate local foods into school meals and a wide range of related nutrition programs, including early childcare settings. However, Farm to School isn't just about farmers selling to local schools. It also can include school gardens, agriculture education, and other curriculum connections related to nutrition and agriculture. National Farm to School grants can help schools or community partners jumpstart their programs.
These recordings are from a series of Farm to School webinars co-hosted by K-State Extension Local Food Systems, KS Dept. of Education, and the Kansas Rural Center.
